Camp T.N. Spencer Park was dedicated in 2003 as the result of a partnership between Cabarrus County and the Cabarrus Boys and Girls Club. The location operated as a private summer camp since the late 1940s and The Boys and Girls Club summer camp program still operates at the park each summer.
